Center for World War II Studies and Conflict Resolution

The Center is dedicated to fostering the study of the historical, political, social, economic, cultural and military aspects of the World War II era up through the Korean War. The Center will educate the community about the era and its impact on world history and help future generations avoid armed conflict in the resolution of global problems. It will stimulate the examination of the key events of the time; the political and military leaders who waged the wars, provided the leadership, made the peace; and those who served on the battlefield and home front. The ultimate goal of The Center is to utilize the lessons learned from the World War II era to prevent the recurrence of global armed conflict in a world of sovereign states with divergent interests, wants and needs.
