May 2006
On May 25, 2006, Steve was aboard Amtrak Train 2100, an Acela Express, when a massive power outage shut down Amtrak's Northeast Corridor. He shot these photos with his Treo 650 cell phone camera. So far, the photos have appeared on the Philadelphia Inquirer and Newark Star-Ledger websites, and on page one of the Inquirer the day after the outage. Go to http://www.philly.com/mld/philly/14665006.htm and you will see a photo of people waiting by the train departure board at 30th Street Station. Below that picture is a link "Slideshow of stranded commuters," and Steve's photos are in the slide show. Also, at http://www.nj.com, there is a photo of commuters on the tracks (not Steve's photo), but if you click on the link that says "One commuter's pics," you will see a slide show that includes many of Steve's photos. We can create dramatic photojournalism for your business or editorial needs. Please inquire about our photography and videography services. |
